What do we stand for?
De Consularis – an organisation for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs
De Consularis was founded in 2003 by three entrepreneurs who, from personal experience, understood how lonely running a business can be and how valuable it is to have an independent sparring partner. This led to the development of a network and team of experienced entrepreneurs and directors with proven track records and a wide range of backgrounds and expertise.
The mission of De Consularis is to share and transfer practical knowledge and real-life experience. We do this by bringing together seasoned entrepreneurs and organising meetings where Consulars exchange insights and lessons learned. These experiences are then made available to business owners in a practical and accessible way. Consulars may receive a fee for their work, but compensation is not the primary goal. Our guiding principle is: “being good, by doing good.”
Consulars are driven by a strong commitment to support SME and family business owners. This can be on a one-to-one basis as a coach, or as a member of a Board of Advisors. Together, our Consulars have supported more than 150 companies with practical advice and hands-on guidance.
What are we?
Consulars are independent sparring partners with broad general management experience. They are part of a trusted network that supports and strengthens one another. This enables them to effectively assist family businesses and SME entrepreneurs in a pragmatic and results-oriented way.
How does it work?
Together, we assess which Consulars best match your situation. We then introduce two suitable candidates. You decide who you want to meet and interview, and you make the final choice. You will also find that our fees are transparent, reasonable and aligned with the entrepreneurial mindset.
